I have been training with Rachel for three years, she motivates and encourages me to achieve new goals and I enjoy the variation in our sessions. Although I am generally pretty healthy, more recently I was finding it very hard to shift that extra stubborn weight and with Rachel’s food action plan, advice, follow up and support I achieved the results I wanted, I couldn’t be happier with my progress but more importantly with the fantastic coaching and support Rachel has provided.
Rachel has been my PT for over a year now and recently she also devised a personalised nutrition plan for me. It has been nothing short of life changing. Within 2 months I lost a stone, and adopted eating habits that I have been able to stick with ever since. The thing I like about Rachel’s plan is that it’s not a diet as such, but rather an education on what foods to eat, when to eat them, and how much of them to eat. I personally hate being hungry, and genuinely never was whilst following this plan. Of course you get out what you put in, but Rachael gave really clear and helpful guidance, tailoring my plan in such a way that I could stick to it, and was brilliant at suggesting recipe and snack ideas to help me meet my nutrition targets. The thing I have most enjoyed about working with Rachael as a PT is her ability to push me to my limit, but never so far that I feel like I can’t succeed. It’s a hard balance to strike, but she manages to do it effortlessly. Rachel conveys a real passion for her job and inspires you to believe that you can achieve what you want to – but without being over-zealous or preachy about it. She sets realistic goals – and works hard to help you meet them. And she’s a nice person to be around. I cannot recommend her highly enough

After having my second child I was very determined to get back in shape and lose the excess weight I had gained and was referred to Dean Hale. He was very professional and took note of my specific goals and medical history as I had undergone surgery during child birth. I have lost inches off my arms and waist and I am now lighter than I was before I became pregnant.
Dean Hale as a personal trainer is truly good at what he does. Very friendly and professional. He is a really passionate trainer that I would highly recommend.
Being tall and reasonably aerobically fit because of my activities I wanted a programme that would target core strength and flexibility, something I knew I was lacking but that could only help me enjoy my sports further. I was also concerned that whatever I did would not increase muscle bulk or add any additional weight. Nicky understood my requirements and the logic behind them and, having established whether my goals were sensible, created a programme for me. As well as detailed written instructions she also created excellent video tuition and the two worked well together to remind me of how my form should be during exercise and how much it should hurt! I am now into the second part of the programme and I'm very pleased with the results. Core strength is making a big difference when playing football, cycling and windsurfing (not at the same time!). Nicky's interest in my progress is good and her keenness to review and plan for the next steps are infectious. I look forward to continuing to work with her on my current programme and would certainly use her for anything else I may consider in the future.
I thoroughly enjoy training with Nicky and the programme she has created for me – it is varied and challenging and the most effective form of exercise I’ve ever done. Having spent years on treadmills and cross trainers at the gym, I never quite achieved the results I was hoping for – a few weeks in with Nicky and I am seeing changes in my physique which keep me going back to the work-outs and push me to push myself further! Nicky listens to what I want to get out of the training and tailors my work-outs accordingly. I am grateful to her for showing me that I can achieve my fitness and body goals if I commit – once you see results, it is totally worth it – my limbs are stronger and leaner! Her guidance and encouragement really help too. I would recommend Nicky to anyone who wants to get strong, fit and healthy!
I have found Nicky Baker Personal Trainer via the internet, while browsing for a PT near my house. Nicky is a great find! After a bit of discussion around what I want out of this training, Nicky has started to build a program for our sessions but also outside our f2f. It is great! I love it, can already see changes after a month and a half and am looking forward to discovering what Nicky has planned for each weeks. Nicky is super enthusiastic, communicates her passion and makes each session an actual exchange around fitness and nutrition. I can only recommend Nicky.
Absolutely fantastic trainer! Clearly knows her stuff, as further confirmed by my Chiropractor when they compared notes to design the best personalised training plan for me. I feel fitter and stronger already and actually have fun training which is a new experience for me :) I thoroughly recommend Nicky for anyone looking to build strength and fitness.
I thoroughly enjoy my personal training sessions with Nicky as she really tailors the programme to your needs/goals even down to which exercises you don't like so that these aren't included and you remain motivated! Nicky is professional, supportive and enthusiastic. Sessions are fun and you are always pushed but within your limits. A fabulous trainer!
