From a young age I have always been passionate about health and fitness, representing my county in gymnastics and athletics as a youth, running marathons and currently competing for Great Britain in powerlifting; proudly breaking the British record last year and bringing home a gold medal from the European championships.

I have been working within the health and fitness industry for nearly a decade and adore my job. Highlights of my career have included working as an exercise specialist in the London 2012 Olympic Games and spending two months in rural Ghana educating schools and communities about health.

On my return I was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award for my dedication to the industry. I gained my Registered Dietitan status after spending four years at the University of Surrey, working in both clinical and community settings and gaining vital NHS experience.

I wanted to combine my expertise in both fitness and nutrition to coach individuals to achieve optimal physical health, emotional wellness and self belief. A particular passion of mine is within the area of performance nutrition.

I work with both amateur and elite athletes including rowers, canoeists, hockey players, skiers, trampolinist’, triathletes, netball players and weight lifters representing Great Britain to improve their sporting performance through optimal nutrition.

Continual professional development is important to me and I am currently studying for my Masters in Sports Nutrition with the International Olympic Committee with the plan to research within the field and gain my Doctorate. Please feel free to contact me with any questions! Rachel
