My name is Niketa, born and raised in east London. since the age of 6, I have been involved in a wide range of activities and sports. I started off with tap and ballet, I had never been the most flexible or graceful of students, but I tried my best. after 4 years and moving from primary school to secondary, I had been introduced to netball, basketball, athletics, hockey and volleyball. I had been lucky enough to represent the borough and county in volleyball before the age of 18. Between the ages of 16-18, I had managed to begin coaching the local children at Eton Manor athletics club, as well as competing for them. during my time studying Sports Science at Brunel university, I first became involved in rugby. I had known little about the sport, but there I had begun to excel, eventually being able to play for the county of Thames Valley.

After completing my studies (Sports Science Bsc and my PGCE), I taught PE at various schools around London. Between working in schools, my friends had asked me questions about how to stay fit and healthy.  I decided it was time to make a change after 6 years in the teaching profession. I knew I loved playing sport, I knew how to stay fit, healthy and maintain a healthy weight; so why not teach others how to do the same?

I wouldn't design a session I haven't completed myself, it's only fair!
