Born and raised on the countryside in Sweden

This meant I was pretty much destined to work at the largest job supplier nearby which happened to be the local hospital and I did just that (as a janitor) for three years, before I decided that I wanted to see the world. So I packed up my flat in boxes and left my home. I showed people the replica Rosetta Stone in Egypt (the real deal lives at the British Museum), fought off fake LV salesmen in Turkey, and looked after children in France before I decided on trying my luck in London. My plan was to stay for a year, that was in 2010 and I am still around.

Health and fitness have always had a special place in my heart, whether it has been competing in diving as a child, training for half marathons, and most recently playing for the Swedish National Mixed and Women’s teams in the European Dodgeball Championships 2016. These are all a great mix of different activities, but they all have something in common, they keep me healthy and they keep me happy.

Why Personal Training?

I have had a lot of different jobs in my life, but nothing ever felt 100% right until I became a personal trainer! It was after working countless hours as a nanny and thinking of taking up my studies to become a teacher that I realised that I was on the right track but the wrong kind of teaching. Health and fitness was my passion, and why not teach others the thing I am mostly passionate about? Getting my qualifications, and getting out there to show my client’s how to nurture their bodies is the best decision I have ever made.

I love my job as a personal trainer, and that is something that my clients are able to tell throughout their sessions with me. While working towards my client’s specific goals, I take pride in my innovative personal training sessions and not one session is ever the same. This is because I believe that anyone should be able to do exercise anywhere. I pride myself in using a lot of bodyweight exercises but with a twist, not your typical push up/squat only programme! However, to accommodate each client’s individual goals I do have access to additional equipment such as slamballs, resistance bands, dumbbells, kettlebells etc for your session.
