I'm Helen Core, founder of Core Coaching and I am a Personal Trainer.

My previous career was a Police Officer with Thames Valley Police for 9 years, during this time I achieved a nationally recognised investigators qualification and worked as a Detective Constable. I was one of the lead investigators for safeguarding adults and was trained at a higher level of interviewing including interviewing vulnerable adults and children. During this time I developed a keen interest in exercise which led me to decide to become a group fitness instructor, I completed the qualification and then decided to specialise in Boxercise and Kettlebells becoming a Boxercise instructor and personal trainer and a kettlebell instructor. I followed this by becoming a level 3 personal trainer and sports massage therapist and in January 2012 I took the plunge and left the police becoming self employed!

I have kept up my personal development by completing further courses including taking the advanced kettlebell instructor course, level 1 and 2 kettlebell sport coach and then decided to add life coaching to complement my work.

Personal Training.

“I trained with Helen three times a week for two years and got great results. She is able to adapt to a variety of goals, injuries and motivation levels whilst still pushing you to achieve the best that you can. The workouts never got boring or repetitive and she was open to adaptation - as long as she didn't think you were shirking anything hard that you were really capable of :) I loved training with Helen and would recommend her many times over - she's a great trainer, very professional and lots of fun to be around.”
